In the fall of 2013 I have started a series of scaffolded pots. These are thrown vessels have an addition of scaffolding surrounding the perrimeter. The interesting thing about them is the contrast between the symmetric round vessel form and the shapes created by the bars that make up the scaffold that are abstract, asymmetric and in vast contrast to the organic vessel.
